My personal reflection

My personal reflection is usually in the form of a conversation with God and usually includes both sides of the conversation. I know it's weird but that's how the Lord speaks to me.

He brought him to Jesus

John 1:35-42
John was standing with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, "Behold, the Lamb of God."  The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus.  Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them, "What are you looking for?"  They said to him, "Rabbi" (which translated means Teacher),
"where are you staying?"  He said to them, "Come, and you will see."  So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day.  It was about four in the afternoon.  Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus.  He first found his own brother Simon and told him, "We have found the Messiah," which is translated Christ.  Then he brought him to Jesus.  Jesus looked at him and said,  "You are Simon the son of John;  you will be called Cephas," which is translated Peter.

He brought him to Jesus:

Lord, this is what you want from all of us, yet it is so hard to let go of my concerns about what people will think when I bring  you up to them.  I know that my job is just planting seeds, you have told me that  many times, yet I get frustrated when I don't see the 'fruit'.  Is it pride thinking that anyting I can say or do will change anything, anyone's mind or heart even though I know it's not me but you?  And how do I know when it's your wordds and when it's my pride  that is speaking or acting?

Always look for peace and if  love is motivaing your words and actions.  And if you mess up, ask for forgiveness and let it go.  Quit worrying about being wrong.  You will be wrong more than right in this life. It's okay.  It's not a sin to be wrong.
