Pray for me

Matthew 5:43-48
Jesus said to his disciples:  "You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.  But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.  For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have?  Do not the tax collectors do the same?  And if you greet your brothers and sisters only, what is unusual about that?  Do not the pagans do the same?  So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect."

Lord,
You love the good and the bad and you expect the same from me.  If I am going to follow you, to do your will then I have to love those who do not love me.  I have to pray for those who hate me and those I do not like, the ones that make my life miserable if I let them.  Maybe I should make it a point to specifically pray for each and everyone of those people that I despise or do not like.  Lord, I do not believe that I despise anyone I know or anyone around me, but I do despise those who are evil.  It is hard to pray for them, let alone love them.  Our country is going downhill so quickly right now.  It is like the devil has free reign and is a puppeteer pulling the strings on so many in power.  This society has become evil and that evil has been accepted by the majority and sold as a good thing.  Morality has been and continues to be promoted and celebrated and raised to a level of worship of itself.  Lord, when will it end?

Not until I come again.  But you must hold on, hold on to the faith because it will get worse before it gets better.  The evil one does have power over so many mindless sheep who follow hm and many will follow him to hell.  But the righteous will live.

Lord, so many things are turned upside down and backwards.

Yes that has been prophesied.  But the triumph of the Lord,God will win in the end.  You must not ever give up.  You must persevere especially when you are tired and worn out.  And when you are , I will give you rest.
